About Me
I believe real estate should be approached with the same thoughtfulness and financial discipline as any other significant investment. For most people, a home is their largest asset—and the decisions surrounding it can have a meaningful impact on their financial future.
That perspective is what drew me to real estate after more than 30 years in technology and finance, including a decade as CFO of early-stage companies. I had also experienced firsthand how complicated buying and selling a home can feel, even for someone with a financial background. I saw an opportunity to bring greater clarity, analysis, and transparency to the process.
Today, I combine that experience with deep knowledge of the Bay Area to help clients make informed real estate decisions. Whether someone is buying a first home, moving up, downsizing, selling a longtime family home, or investing in real estate, I begin by understanding what they are trying to accomplish—not simply the transaction in front of us.
For buyers, that means carefully evaluating value, understanding the market and competitive landscape, and negotiating the best possible price and terms. For sellers, it means developing a strategy around preparation, positioning, pricing, and marketing designed to maximize the value of their property.
Clear communication is fundamental to how I work. My goal is for clients to understand not only what we are doing, but why—and to feel informed and confident throughout the process.
Just as important, I view my work with clients as a relationship, not simply a transaction. Closing on a home isn't the end of that relationship. I want to remain a trusted resource long afterward—whether a client has a question about their home, needs a recommendation, wants to understand how their property fits into the changing market, or is considering their next real estate decision.
My Bay Area Connection
The Bay Area has been home since the mid-1980s, and Los Altos is my community. My wife and I raised our two sons here, both graduates of the Los Altos public schools.
Giving back has also been an important part of my life. I have served on the boards of local nonprofit organizations supporting behavioral health and families in our community.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll often find me traveling with my wife, playing pickleball, or following European soccer.
I proudly serve clients throughout Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and the surrounding Peninsula and Silicon Valley communities.
For me, real estate isn't simply about buying or selling a home. It's about helping people make better decisions about one of the most important assets they will ever own—and being a resource they can turn to well beyond the transaction.
